What can you hire for a party in Perth?

Everything below is listed in the Great Celebrations shop at the price shown. Setup and pack-down are included in our pricing.

Cover

• Marquee: $550. A 4m x 8m marquee. The price includes lighting, sides, setup and removal, and the product is designed for heavy rain.
• Umbrella: $40. A 2m umbrella for shade or a passing shower.

Seating and tables

• Cane lounge: $300. The 6-seater or the 6 Seat White Corner Lounge, with cane chairs and sofas, throw pillows, side tables and rugs.
• Wine barrels and stools: oak barrel $25, white barrel $30, oak with 4 stools $41, white with 4 stools $46, stools only $4.
• 6ft round table: $35. Seats 8 to 10 guests.
• Americana chair: $6.
• Ottoman: $50. A pallet ottoman.

Bar and drinks

• Bar: $150. Wooden, white, oak barrel or white barrel. This is bar furniture, not bar staff.
• Slushy machine: $190 for the machine only or $290 for the machine and a bar. It includes 2 mixers (flavours) and holds 24L.
• Esky: $40. Available in various sizes.

Lighting, music and dancing

• Festoon lighting: 20m $150, 40m $300, 60m $450, 80m $600, 100m $750, with extra 4m poles at $10.
• Fairy light wall: 2.7m high, in widths of 2m ($150), 4m ($250), 6m ($350), 8m ($450) and 10m ($550).
• Dance floor: 3.6m x 3.6m. Floor only $350, floor with party lights and speaker $440, floor with hard mats for grass $450, floor with mats, speaker and lights $540.
• Speaker: $100. A JBL PartyBox 710, listed as IPX4 splashproof, with guitar and mic inputs.
• 6ft LOVE sign: $250. Suited to engagements and anniversaries as well as weddings.

The simplest party hire in Perth: the $700 package

If you want one booking that sets up the whole yard, the Backyard Wedding Package is $700 and includes 4 wine barrels (oak or white), 16 stools, a 6-seater lounge (cane or white), a bar (oak or white), 40m of festoon lighting and an umbrella. Setup and pack-down are included, and Afterpay is available.

It does not include a marquee, catering, drinks, bar staff or florals. If you want cover, the Marquee and Wine Barrel Package is also $700 and gives you a 4m x 8m marquee with lights inside, 4 wine barrels and 16 stools, instead of the lounge, bar and festoon.

• Backyard birthday drinks with dancing: the $700 package plus a dance floor with party lights and speaker ($440) comes to $1,140. Add a slushy machine ($190) and it is $1,330.

Choosing party hire by the type of party

Cocktail-style parties (engagements, 30th and 40th birthdays, milestone get-togethers) work best with barrels and stools, a bar and a lounge. Guests move around, so you need somewhere to put a drink down and somewhere to sit. We service the Perth metro area and surrounding suburbs. Areas named on our services page include Perth CBD, Joondalup, Rockingham, Rolleystone, York, Lancelin and Pemberton, and we can travel anywhere in the South West of Western Australia.

The shop lists delivery, setup and collection at $6 per kilometre, added once for the whole order, from our depot in O'Connor. • Check the date with us first. Stock is first in, best dressed, so the earlier you book, the better your chance of getting everything you want.
• Send your suburb, guest count and a couple of photos or a short video of the space.
• Tell us what you want to hire, or ask which package fits.
• Secure the date. You can pay a deposit online, from $100, against a manual quote. Afterpay is available.
