What wedding hire items can you hire in Perth?

Here is the full list by stage of the day. Every price is the one listed in the Great Celebrations shop.

Ceremony

• Wedding Ceremony Package: $450. 8 wedding benches, a white arbor, a signing table and a 10m aisle rug. The same listing offers the arbour on its own from $150.
• Wedding ceremony benches: $20. Suitable for outdoor or indoor ceremonies.
• Signing table and chairs: $80. A table and two chairs.

Cover

• Marquee: $550. A 4m x 8m marquee. The price includes lighting, sides, setup and removal, and the product is designed for heavy rain.
• Umbrella: $40. A 2m umbrella.

Our services page says the 4m x 8m marquees suit events from 25 to 200 people and can be arranged in U, L, square or rectangle shapes. Sizes and weather notes are in the marquee hire guide.

Seating and tables

• Cane lounge: $300. The 6-seater or the 6 Seat White Corner Lounge, with cane chairs and sofas, throw pillows, side tables and rugs. An 8m x 4m carpet is an optional extra.
• Wine barrels and stools: oak barrel $25, white barrel $30, oak with 4 stools $41, white with 4 stools $46, stools only $4, barrel top $20.
• 6ft round table: $35. Seats 8 to 10 guests.
• Americana chair: $6.
• Ottoman: $50.

Bar and drinks

• Bar: $150. Wooden, white, oak barrel or white barrel. This is bar furniture, not bar staff. See the bar hire guide.
• Slushy machine: $190 for the machine only, or $290 with a bar. It includes 2 mixers (flavours) and holds 24L.
• Esky: $40.

Lighting and styling

• Festoon lighting: 20m $150, 40m $300, 60m $450, 80m $600, 100m $750, with extra 4m poles at $10. Lights above 6m high need access equipment, which is not included.
• Fairy light wall: 2.7m high, in widths of 2m ($150), 4m ($250), 6m ($350), 8m ($450) and 10m ($550).
• 6ft LOVE sign: $250. LED lighting, for indoor or outdoor use.

Dancing and music

• Dance floor: 3.6m x 3.6m. Floor only $350, with party lights and speaker $440, with hard mats for grass $450, with mats, speaker and lights $540.
• Speaker: $100. A JBL PartyBox 710, listed as IPX4 splashproof.

What does wedding hire cost? Worked examples

These add up the listed prices. They are starting points, not quotes, and delivery is separate.

• Backyard ceremony and cocktail reception: the Wedding Ceremony Package ($450) plus the Backyard Wedding Package ($700) comes to $1,150.
• The same wedding with cover: add a marquee ($550) and the total is $1,700.
• Tables and chairs for a seated reception of 60: six 6ft rounds at 10 per table ($210) and 60 Americana chairs ($360) comes to $570. Add 40m of festoon ($300) and a dance floor with party lights and speaker ($440) and it is $1,310. Marquee cover is extra, and we will check the layout fits your space before you commit.
• A first-dance corner: a dance floor with party lights and speaker ($440) plus a 6ft LOVE sign ($250) comes to $690.

How to choose wedding hire items by venue

Backyard or private property. Start with cover and a cocktail setup, then add a ceremony package if the vows are on the same lawn. Our backyard wedding hire guide shows what to book first.

A venue with a roof. You may only need furniture, lighting and a dance floor. Check what the venue already supplies and tell us when you enquire.

An outdoor venue or paddock. Marquees and festoon are the main decisions. Our services page says we can travel anywhere in the South West of Western Australia, and we cover Perth metro and surrounding areas including Perth CBD, Joondalup, Rockingham, Rolleystone, York, Lancelin and Pemberton.

• Tell us what you want to hire, or ask which package fits. We can customise packages to suit your needs.
• We confirm availability and send a quote. Stock is first in, best dressed, so the sooner you book your date, the better your chance of securing what you want.
• Secure the date with a deposit from $100 through our online shop, or call us to arrange it. Afterpay is available.

Setup and pack-down are included. Delivery is listed in the shop at $6 per kilometre from our depot in O'Connor, added once for the whole order, and collecting from the depot is free. We offer reduced rates on many items if you collect and return them.
