What outdoor event furniture can you hire in Perth?
These are the items that work outdoors, with prices from the shop:
Cane lounge: $300. The 6-seater or the 6 Seat White Corner Lounge, with cane chairs and sofas, throw pillows, side tables and rugs. The product page lists garden weddings, outdoor parties and beach events as suited uses. An 8m x 4m carpet is an optional extra.
Wine barrels: from $4 for stools only, with barrels and stool sets in oak and white. The listing describes them as weather resistant and suited to indoor and outdoor settings.
6ft round tables: $35. They seat 8 to 10 guests and are described as stable on grass, slab or indoor flooring.
Americana chairs: $6.
Bar: $150. Wooden, white, oak barrel or white barrel.
Umbrella: $40. A 2m umbrella for shade or a passing shower.

The ground decides more than the guest list does. Three things are worth checking before you enquire.
Surface. The 6ft rounds are listed as stable on grass, slab or indoor floors. For the lounge, the optional 8m x 4m carpet defines the space and protects the floor underneath. If you plan a dance floor on grass, the dance floor has an option with hard mats for grass ($450 for the floor with mats; $540 with mats, speaker and lights).
Access. Everything arrives on a truck and is carried to where it will be used. Note the width of your side gate, any steps, and where we can park. A short video walking from the street to the party space answers most of these questions.
Slope and shade. A flat patch of lawn is easy to plan around. If the usable area is small or sloping, tell us. If the sun hits the lawn all afternoon, plan the lounge and the dining under cover, or add an umbrella.
Marquees and furniture: setting up under cover
A marquee changes how you place furniture, because the walls and roof limit where tables and lounges can go. Great Celebrations marquee hire is $550 and includes lighting, sides, setup and removal. The product page says the marquee is designed for heavy rain. A good rule is to decide what must be under cover and what can stay outside:
Under cover: the dining tables if you are serving a meal, and the lounge if the weather is uncertain.
Outside, under the sky or festoon: cocktail barrels, the bar and the dance floor, where guests move around and the roof matters less.

A bar so drinks are served from one place rather than the kitchen.

Seated dining outdoors
Round tables and chairs work on a lawn or paved area as long as there is enough room to pull the chairs out. A 6ft round seats 8 to 10 guests, and each guest needs a chair. For example, 50 guests at 10 per table is five tables ($175) and 50 Americana chairs ($300), a total of $475 at the listed prices, before delivery.
Put the dining area where guests can see the speeches or the dance floor, and close enough to the kitchen or caterer that food does not travel across the whole yard.
Lighting and comfort after dark
An outdoor event that runs past sunset needs light. Festoon lighting is listed at 20m ($150), 40m ($300), 60m ($450), 80m ($600) and 100m ($750), with extra 4m poles at $10.
